STL Directory was designed for the sole purpose of offering the great people of St. Louis a reliable online database of businesses in their area absolutely free! We wanted STL Directory to not only offer reliable information, but to be easy to use and navigate as well. As such we are always happy to take suggestions from our users as to ways to possibly make our site better. Those with suggestions should share them with us via our contact us page. STL Directory offers access not only to contact information for local businesses, but it also offers the people of St. Louis a means to share their opinions by rating each individual business in our database. However, in order to ensure high levels of data reliability, users must be logged in to their account to give a rating for any business. This is the best way to prevent users from voting multiple times for the same business. If you don't have an account you can set one up absolutely free of charge by visiting our membership info page and following the simple steps! And remember by giving ratings you're helping to inform your fellow consumers how others in the St. Louis community feel about a particluar business! |

STL Directory offers a free listing to any business in the St. Louis area. Before submitting your business for inclusion in our database, please check to make sure that it is not already listed. (We have close to 50,000 businesses in our database currently.) If you have checked and believe that your business is not listed in the STL Direcory database, please submit your business for inclusion on our add business page. You will select the appropriate category from our list, or if you feel that your business does not fit any of the categories that we offer you may suggest a new category. You will then fill out the "Inclusion Form" and, barring any unforeseen circumstances, your business will be included in our database the following business day. It's just that easy!

It is our goal for STL Directory to be, not only the largest online database of businesses in the St. Louis region, but to have the most accurate information as well. The benefit of using an online database for any purpose is primarily the convenience that is offered by doing so. However, as most people are aware, many online databases contain highly unreliable, outdated information that negates much of the convenience offered by using them. Even the most popular databases on the web, which we will refrain from naming, seem to struggle to maintain current entries. Our goal is to develop a system that will facilitate the output of the most reliable database of businesses on the web. Our system not only involves data upgrades directly through the use of our site, but direct contact with businesses in order to ensure the highest level of reliability we are capable of providing. Basically, we are striving, and will continue to strive for perfection until our goal is met. Until then, we appreciate any help our users can provide and hope you find STL Directory as useful and reliable as we do!
